I remember baking bread with my Grandma and getting that first slice, still warm, and slathering it with butter and honey. I also remember grabbing slices of Wonderbread from the bag, balling them up and eating the whole thing. Not as good. If you want your kid to know the difference between delicious homemade bread and the other stuff, send them my way for this hands-on kids class. They’ll learn everything they “knead” to know (see what I did there) about flours, yeast doughs, and quick breads and they’ll bring home some delicious treats.
$40 per kid. Limit 6 kids per class.
